CM Yogi conducts aerial survey of flood-affected areas, meets victims and orders officials to find immediate solution.

Lucknow : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Wednesday, conducted an aerial survey of flood-affected Pilibhit and Lakhimpur Kheri. He received updates from officials on the relief works and instructed them to speed up the process. 

Following this, CM Yogi visited the flood-affected villages in Pilibhit and Lakhimpur Kheri on the ground. He met with children and women affected by the disaster, listened to their problems, and directed officials to find immediate solutions. He also personally received petitions from the people.

Additionally, the CM distributed relief materials himself and visited flood shelters to check on the well-being of the people. He held a meeting with the officials of the flood-affected districts and provided necessary directions. 

Furthermore, he toured the flooded areas by boat and took stock of the inundated rivers. 

During the inspection, CM Yogi addressed the media in both districts, sharing information about the relief efforts. Union Minister Jitin Prasada, State Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, Baldev Singh Aulakh, and local MLAs were present.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is continuously monitoring the flood-affected areas of the state to minimize loss of life and property. On Wednesday, he first conducted an aerial survey of Pilibhit, covering the flood-affected villages of Puranpur, Sadar, and Bisalpur tehsils. He gathered detailed information on the flood situation from officials.

Following this, CM Yogi conducted a ground inspection of Chandiya Hajara and Abhaypur Jagatpur in Pilibhit and engaged with children, women, and other residents to understand their problems firsthand.

He assured the disaster-affected people that the state government is with them in this time of crisis and that they need not worry. He promised all possible assistance from the government. 

The affected people were very happy to see CM Yogi among them and handed over their petitions related to their problems, which CM Yogi personally received. He instructed officials to take immediate necessary actions. Additionally, he 

distributed relief kits to the affected people himself. 

CM Yogi then visited the flood shelter to check on the well-being of those staying there. He also held a meeting with district representatives and officials, instructing them to expedite relief efforts. 

He directed officials to distribute relief materials and financial assistance promptly and to immediately survey damaged crops to provide compensation. CM Yogi also addressed the media, sharing information about the government’s relief efforts in the flood-affected areas.

After touring the flood-affected areas of Pilibhit, the Chief Minister arrived in Lakhimpur Kheri. Before this, he conducted an aerial survey of Lakhimpur Kheri. After reaching Sharda Nagar in Lakhimpur Kheri, he observed the flood levels from the barrage on the Sharda River and gathered information from the officials.

Following this, CM Yogi visited the flood camp in Sharda Nagar. He distributed relief kits to the disaster-affected people and checked on their well-being. 

He then held a meeting with public representatives and officials. In the meeting, he instructed officials to distribute relief kits promptly and to survey the damage to life and property, ensuring immediate financial assistance.

He emphasized that there is no shortage of funds, warning against any laxity in helping those affected by the disaster. He also mentioned that any arising problems should be reported to him immediately.

Addressing the media, CM Yogi said that 12 districts in the state are affected by floods, where relief efforts are being carried out on a war-footing. He mentioned that the NDRF, SDRF, PAC, SSB flood units, and local divers have been deployed to tackle the floods, resulting in the safe evacuation of a large population. In Lakhimpur Kheri, 38 flood posts have been established.

Later, CM Yogi visited ground zero in Majra Mahadev of Gram Sabha Soria and took stock of the situation. He boarded an NDRF boat to inspect the flood situation and gathered information from the officials.
