CM Yogi meets public representatives in Bahraich, tells them to be vigilant

Lucknow/Bahraich : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Sunday, conducted an aerial survey of flood-affected areas in Bahraich to assess the situation on the ground. Following the survey, he held a meeting with local public representatives to discuss the current conditions and the necessary steps to mitigate the impact of the disaster.

The Chief Minister informed the representatives that while life in the region has largely returned to normal, continued vigilance is crucial. He urged public representatives to stay connected with local communities and offer reassurance, particularly regarding concerns about a wolf that has been troubling residents. He assured them that efforts to capture the animal are ongoing.

CM Yogi also emphasized the importance of ensuring that eligible beneficiaries who have not yet received the benefits of Central and State Government schemes be included. He directed officials to run a special campaign to ensure that no deserving individual is left out.

The Chief Minister lauded the coordinated efforts of public representatives, district authorities, the police administration, and the Forest department in addressing the challenges posed by the recent floods. He highlighted how their teamwork has instilled confidence among the local population. The Forest department, along with administrative officials, is already working on a future strategy to prevent such incidents.

Before the meeting, CM Yogi conducted an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas to assess the situation firsthand. He was briefed by administrative officials on the ongoing relief efforts, flood management, and other pressing issues. He also inquired about the compensation provided to the families of the deceased and the medical treatment for the injured.

While the Chief Minister confirmed that life in the affected villages has returned to normal, he stressed the importance of maintaining vigilance until the area is entirely safe. He assured that teams will remain on the ground to protect every citizen and continue serving the public with utmost care and caution.

During this, Minister of State for Forests (Independent Charge) Dr. Arun Kumar Saxena, Minister of State for Forests KP Malik, Bahraich MP Anand Kumar God, MLAs Sureshwar Singh, Subhash Tripathi, Anupama Jaiswal, Saroj Sonkar, Ramnivas Verma, Legislative Council member Padmasen Chaudhary, and Pragya Tripathi were present.
