Immediate Action Required on Basic Facilities in Wagholi: Minister Uday Samant.

Mumbai : A meeting regarding the issues faced by Wagholi village in Pune district was held today at the Ministry under the chairmanship of Industries Minister Uday Samant. Minister Samant directed immediate action on the basic facilities in Wagholi. He also instructed to provide open spaces for private buses on the roads to address traffic issues and to mark and allocate spaces for drainage within the next eight days.

The meeting regarding various basic facilities in Wagholi village was held under the chairmanship of Minister Samant following the request of MLA Ashok Pawar. Officials from the Pune Municipal Corporation, Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority, and MIDC were present.

To establish a proper drainage system in Wagholi, road markings should be completed within the next eight days. The concerned authorities should also take immediate action on issues related to roads and parking spaces. Private buses currently stop on the roads in Wagholi, causing traffic congestion. To avoid this, arrangements should be made to stop these buses in open spaces adjacent to the roads, and the police department should take action in this regard, Minister Samant instructed.
