Industry Minister Shri Dewangan laid the foundation stone of development works worth Rs 1.20 crore

Industry Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Devangan today laid the foundation stone for development works worth Rs 1.20 crore in Korba city. On this occasion, Minister Shri Devangan said that work is being started with full commitment to ensure proper development and fulfillment of needs of every ward of Korba Municipal Corporation area. In the coming five years, not even a single lane will remain unpaved. Every lane will be paved.

The above things were said by Commerce Industry and Labor Minister Shri Devangan on the occasion of Bhoomi Pujan program organized in Rudranagar. While addressing, the minister said that our effort is that the work of road, drain, drinking water should start simultaneously in every ward of the city, for this, funds are also being immediately approved for development works by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw. The implementation of the poor welfare scheme by the state Vishnu Dev government is happening rapidly, mothers and sisters are getting the benefit of distribution of gas stove, PM Housing Scheme and other schemes. Today every woman is getting the benefit of Mahtari Vandan Yojana.

Now there will be no shortage of funds for any need of Korba Municipal Corporation area. There is the greatest need for road and drain construction in the wards. Road and drain construction is being done on priority basis. So that the traffic and water drainage system can be improved. Along with this, funds have also been released for the construction of various social buildings.

During the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony held in Podibahar Ward, the rituals were performed according to tradition. On this occasion, Minister Mr. Devangan stated that during the Assembly elections, the people of this area had requested the construction of roads and drains. He expressed his pleasure that today, the work is being inaugurated with an expenditure of ₹43.24 lakh.

Present at the event were District Vice President Mr. Praful Tiwari, Ward No. 16 Councillor Narendra Devangan, Kosabadi Mandal President Ajay Vishwakarma, Ward No. 31 Councillor Mr. Sukundi Yadav, Councillors Ajay Gaud, Pradeep Jaiswal, Fekuram Devangan, Anil Vashtakar, Shiv Jaiswal, Sanju Sharma, Rajendra Sahu, Ramkumar Rathore, Dinesh Vaishnav, Rama Miri, Gudiya Yadav, Gopal Yadav, Ramkumar Patwa, Chandan Singh, among many other ward residents.

Minister Mr. Devangan announced the following projects:

  • In Ward No. 31, construction of drains in the Industrial Area, CC road from Avadhesh Singh’s house to Prakash Yadav’s house, and RCC drain construction near Kharmora Housing Board from Yadav’s house to Maravi’s house, with a cost of ₹11.22 lakh.
  • In Rudra Nagar, CC road and drain construction with a cost of ₹42.07 lakh.
  • In Kharmora, construction of the SLRM Centre with a cost of ₹23.52 lakh.
  • Totaling ₹76.81 lakh.
  • In Ward No. 29, Podibahar, CC road and drain construction from Budheshwar Singh’s house to Shanti Bai’s house, near Society Lane, and from Jamila Khan to Rathore Kirana Shop in Bhagwat Nagar, with a cost of ₹43.24 lakh.

Minister Mr. Devangan presented these developments as a gift.
