“NDMC Hosts Yoga Camps Ahead of International Yoga Day”

New Delhi:With the aim to successful organization of the prestigious *International Day of Yoga on 21st June, 2024 on the theme “Yoga for Self and Society”* at 08 locations in the New Delhi Municipal Council area, NDMC is organizing *Yoga Camps as a part of build-up program to the Yoga Day from 18th to 20th June, 2024 on daily basis from 6:30 am to 8.30 am at Nehru Park, Talkatora Garden and Lodhi Garden.*

NDMC is organizing these build-up programmes to create awareness amongst general public in its three major gardens viz Nehru Park, Lodhi Garden and Talkatora Garden in association with Ministry of AYUSH and Partner Yoga Institutions like Art of Living, Patanjali Yoga Samiti and Gayatri Parivar.

In these Yoga Build Up Camps at its three major gardens, NDMC is conducting yoga sessions daily as per the common yoga protocol. NDMC designated its senior officers as Nodal Officer and Assistant Nodal Officers for three locations who will responsible all logistics and their arrangement. Nodal Officers will also co-ordinate with the Yoga Institutions for arrangement of Yoga Trainers and motivation to the general public for participating.

NDMC will celebrate this year’s *International Day of Yoga at 08 locations in its jurisdiction area which includes Nehru Park, Lodhi Garden, Talkatora Garden, Kartavya Path, New Moti Bagh – IAS Residences area, Sanjay Jheel, Singapore Park, Central Park –Connaught Place* in association with Art of Living, Patanjali Yoga Samiti, Gayatri Parivar, Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, Isha Yoga Centre, The Yoga Institute, Akhil Bhartiya Yoga Shikshak Mahasangh and Bhartiya Yog Sanstha.

NDMC appeals to all citizen/community groups, Resident Welfare Association, Market Traders Association, and Morning Walkers/Joggers for participating in the yoga build up program for successful celebration of International Day of Yoga 2024 on 21st June in New Delhi area.
