“Neeraj Chopra Secures Silver in Paris, Pakistan’s Nadeem Breaks Record to Win Gold”

Tokyo Olympics gold medalist Neeraj Chopra could not replicate his previous performance in Paris and had to settle for a silver medal. Pakistan’s Nadeem secured the gold with a record throw of 92.97 meters on his second attempt. Neeraj Chopra achieved his best throw of 89.45 meters, also on his second attempt, earning him the silver medal. Anderson Peters of Grenada finished third with a best throw of 88.54 meters.

Both Neeraj and Nadeem started with fouls, but Nadeem solidified his lead by breaking the Olympic record on his second attempt. Despite delivering his season’s best performance, Neeraj couldn’t surpass Nadeem’s throw.
