Nepal Investment Summit 2024 : April 28-29, 2024, Kathmandu, Nepal

In a dedicated effort to strengthen Nepal’s position as a highly attractive investment destination, the Government of Nepal (GoN) is gearing up for the Third Nepal Investment Summit (NIS) 2024, set to take place on April 28-29, 2024, in Kathmandu. This Summit will bring together eminent national and international speakers, dignitaries, sector-specific experts, and notably, high-level representatives from both the government and private sector, as well as development partners.

The Government of Nepal (GoN) is working closely with development partners, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), and the private sector to orchestrate the Summit. Aligned with Nepal’s periodic plans and the government’s policies and programs, significant emphasis has been placed on private sector investment, including Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). To cultivate an investment-friendly environment, relevant laws have been revised or introduced, complemented by streamlined procedures aimed at enhancing the ease of doing business. In its steadfast commitment to bridging resource and technology gaps for the country’s economic advancement, the government is determined to boost commitments and inflows of foreign investment.
