“Next Phase of Lok Sabha Elections: 93 Constituencies Set for Polling on May 7th”

Lok Sabha 24 : Phase 3 Polling more than 1300 plus candidates are in the fray for the voting which is set to take place on Tuesday, May 7. The polling will be held in 93 Lok Sabha constituencies across 11 states and union territories, the Elections Commission of India said.

In this phase, voting will be held in some major states like Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

Voting for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 will take place on May 7. In this phase, the fate of candidates on 94 constituencies across 12 states and Union Territories will be captured in EVMs on May 7, the BJP has already won Surat in Gujarat unopposed. Getting voters out of their homes amid the scorching heat remains a challenge for the Election Commission. Voting will begin around 7 am and end at 5 pm. In this phase, voting will be held in some major states like Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

Earlier, voting for Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha seat of Jammu and Kashmir was also to be held on the same day, but here voting has been rescheduled to May 25. Counting of votes on all seats is to take place on June 4.
