Many students have embraced the program, with some even excelling in Taekwondo competitions.

The self-defense training program will be implemented across middle, high, and higher secondary schools in Saitual district, with five blackbelt Taekwondo instructors—Lianthangpuii, Lalliankimi, Zohmingthangi, C. Lallawmsanga, and Zoramsanga—leading the classes.

The Pipe Band Academy, supported by PAB 2023-2024, will be established in 10 districts, including Saitual. The Government Saitual High School was selected as the location for the academy, with a budget of ₹400,000 allocated for its establishment. The academy’s instructors include Lalmuansanga (Piper & Major) and Lalhmingthanga (Drummer, Major, Bass Drummer), who have already begun classes from August 7th, 2024.
