Lucknow : In a significant international recognition, President Draupadi Murmu has been awarded Fiji’s highest honor, the ‘Companion of the Order of Fiji’. This prestigious accolade was presented to her by the President of Fiji, marking a moment of pride for India.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took to his official social media account ‘X’ on Tuesday to congratulate President Murmu and the nation on this remarkable achievement. “It is a moment of pride for India that Honourable President Mrs. Draupadi Murmu ji was honored with Fiji’s highest honor ‘Companion of the Order of Fiji’,” he wrote.
CM Yogi further emphasized the significance of this honor, describing it as the highest expression of the unbroken historical and cultural ties between two countries. He remarked, “This honor reflects India’s commitment to peace, cooperation, and goodwill in the world. Hearty congratulations to the Honourable President and congratulations to the countrymen!”
