President Smt. Draupadi Murmu visits Mahakal temple and performs pooja

President Smt. Draupadi Murmu visited Baba Mahakaleshwar today during her visit to Ujjain. She performed Abhishek with water and Panchamrit and performed followed by puja-archana and aarti. She prayed to Baba Mahakal for the progress of the country and the state, the welfare of the people, and world peace. Smt. Murmu also meditated on Baba Mahakaleshwar in Nandi Hall. Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also accompanied her.

After the puja, President Smt. Murmu was honored by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav with angavastram, prasad and memento on behalf of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee. The puja was conducted by Pt. Akash Pujari. Other pujaris present were Shri Shailendra Sharma, Shri Ram Pujari, Shri Abhishek Sharma and Shri Ajay Pujari.
