Prime Minister Janman Yojana changed his condition and direction- Beneficiary Shri Ram Singh

Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana is proving to be a boon for the people of the special backward tribal class. Under this, these classes are getting direct benefits of the public welfare schemes of the government. The good governance government of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai is working with the concept of a concrete roof for all, taking care of the poor. Providing concrete housing to all the poor families in the state is the first priority of the Sai government and all necessary steps are being taken for this.

Out of these schemes, Mr. Ramsing Kumar of Navadih settlement in Kharma village panchayat of Magarlod development block of Dhamtari district, who took advantage of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, while entering his own house, says that the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana has changed his condition and direction.Mr. Ramsing Kumar tells that under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana, he got approval for housing in the year 2023-24. After this, he started seeing his hope of getting his own concrete house fulfilled. He told that as soon as he got the first installment amount of Rs 40 thousand, his hope started getting confirmed. After this, housing construction work was started on the basis of technical guidance at the Gram Panchayat level and as the installment amount was received on the basis of progress, the work level increased and his dream house was completely ready. In this, through convergence, he got a total of two lakh 19 thousand 890 rupees from the government, including 90 days’ wages under MNREGA, Rs 19 thousand 890 and housing grant amount of two lakh rupees. While entering the house, Shri Ramsing Kumar was overjoyed.

He thanked the Prime Minister of the country and the Chief Minister of the state from the bottom of his heart for this that he got his dream home. Narrating his ordeal, Shri Ramsing Kumar tells that after the death of his wife in the year 2023, the condition of his family had become very bad and it was becoming difficult for 4 members of the family including 3 sons to live in a kutcha hut. Every day there was a fear of insects, snakes, scorpions etc. from the forest. Apart from this, a lot of difficulties were faced due to water dripping in the rain and monkeys breaking the tiles.It is worth noting that 159 families reside in the Gram Panchayat Kharma of Magarlod development block, whose main occupation is agriculture and forest produce based. Here, under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin, a total of 100 families have got housing approval from the year 2016-17 to 2022-23 and 30 families in the year 2023-24 under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana. In this way, out of the total approved 130 houses, 117 houses have been completed.
