“Shri Amit Shah Propels BJP’s Assam Agenda: A Call for Transformation and Triumph”

Union Home and Cooperation Minister, Shri Amit Shah, delivered a stirring address at a public gathering in North Lakhimpur, Assam, on Tuesday, alongside esteemed leaders including Assam Chief Minister Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam BJP State President Shri Bhavesh Kalita, and BJP Assam Lok Sabha election in-charge Captain Abhimanyu. The event also saw the presence of Shri Manab Deka and BJP candidate from North Lakhimpur, Shri Pradan Barua, among other dignitaries.

Shri Shah rallied voters to make a crucial decision in the upcoming elections, urging them to choose between the governance led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi under the BJP and the alternative represented by the Rahul Gandhi-led Indy alliance. Criticizing the Congress, Shri Shah highlighted the lack of development initiatives in Assam over the past seven decades, drawing a sharp contrast with the achievements of the BJP government in the state. These achievements include the successful negotiation of peace accords, effective counter-insurgency measures, and a robust agenda for overall development. He underscored the BJP’s commitment to honoring local heroes like Lachit Borphukan and emphasized efforts to bolster healthcare, enhance border security, and foster agricultural growth in Assam.

Addressing the electorate, Shri Amit Shah emphasized the pivotal role of the upcoming elections in determining the nation’s leadership, urging voters to elect Prime Minister Modi for another term and secure a BJP-led government aimed at surpassing the 400-seat mark. He took a swipe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, highlighting the failures of past Congress administrations in addressing the challenges faced by Assam, including unrest and insurgency. In contrast, Shri Shah praised Prime Minister Modi’s proactive approach in fostering peace through multiple peace agreements and mainstreaming thousands of youth.

Shri Shah lambasted the Congress for its historical neglect of Assam’s interests, accusing past administrations of leaving the state vulnerable to infiltration and failing to fulfill promises made to its youth. He lauded the BJP government’s swift action in addressing longstanding issues, such as the Bodoland Agreement and the conservation of Assam’s natural heritage, including the protection of the revered rhinoceros population in Kaziranga.

Furthermore, Shri Amit Shah underscored the BJP’s commitment to preserving Assam’s rich cultural heritage, exemplified by initiatives to honor historical figures like Lachit Borphukan. He expressed confidence in Assam’s trajectory toward becoming a developed state under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, citing numerous development projects and agreements secured during the BJP’s tenure.

Highlighting the broader implications of Assam’s development, Shri Shah emphasized Prime Minister Modi’s vision for the holistic progress of the Northeast region. He noted significant investments in infrastructure, healthcare, and connectivity aimed at transforming the region and ensuring its integration with the rest of India. Shri Shah commended the removal of the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act (AFSPA) from a substantial portion of Assam, highlighting the government’s commitment to peace and stability.

In a stark comparison, Shri Shah scrutinized the Congress’s track record, accusing the party of neglecting Assam’s development needs and espousing regressive policies. He criticized Congress leaders for their stance on issues such as Article 370 and their indifference toward Assam’s security concerns.

In conclusion, Shri Amit Shah rallied support for the NDA and BJP, urging voters to deliver a resounding victory across all 14 seats in Assam and contribute to the national mandate for progress and prosperity under the lotus banner.
