Bhopal, Oct 2026 : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was following the ideals of Lord Shri Ram and working towards establishing Ram Rajya in the country through good governance, development and public welfare policies.
Addressing a Vijayadashami celebration in the Salaiya area of Bhopal, the Chief Minister said the Prime Minister had also demonstrated courage by striking at enemies on their own territory, drawing a parallel with the valour associated with Lord Ram.
Dr Yadav said the Prime Minister’s welfare-oriented policies were aimed at promoting good governance and development, reflecting the principles of Ram Rajya.
The Chief Minister said citizens had witnessed how a court’s verdict could be respected. He added that the development of Lord Shri Ram’s temple complex in Ayodhya had been completed, and people across the country were now looking forward with hope to the development of Lord Shri Krishna’s religious sites.
Dr Yadav extended Vijayadashami greetings and best wishes to all citizens. He was welcomed at the beginning of the programme, which featured a decorated tableau of Lord Shri Ram.
Rs 11 Crore Road Project Announced for Salaiya
During the event, the Chief Minister announced that the Salaiya-Guradi road would be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 11 crore.
He said the road, stretching over two kilometres, would improve transportation and provide greater convenience to residents of the area. Construction work is expected to begin soon.
The proposed road project is intended to improve local connectivity and make daily travel easier for residents.
Bhopal MLA Rameshwar Sharma also addressed the gathering. Rahul Kothari and several other public representatives were present at the programme.
The Vijayadashami celebration combined religious observances with announcements concerning local infrastructure development, as residents gathered to mark the festival symbolising the victory of good over evil.
