Mumbai, Aug 2026 : Actor Govinda’s personal life has once again come under the spotlight after his wife, Sunita Ahuja, made a series of sharp remarks about his reported association with newcomer actress Komal Rani Swarnkar.
Sunita reacted strongly after Govinda was recently spotted at an airport with Komal Rani, who has been linked with the veteran actor amid reports surrounding their professional association. Speaking to photographers, Sunita questioned Govinda’s decision to be seen with a woman she described as being around their daughter’s age.
“Beti ki umar ki ladki lekar ghoom raha hai, shame on him,” Sunita said, criticising her husband’s public appearances with the young actress.
She also took another apparent dig at Govinda, referring to him as a “sugar daddy” while commenting on the fashion choices associated with the alleged relationship. Her remarks quickly attracted attention on social media, adding another layer to the ongoing speculation surrounding the actor.
The controversy has also been linked to Govinda’s reported upcoming film ‘Roopa’, in which Komal Rani is said to be involved. When photographers asked Sunita about Govinda promoting the project alongside the actress, she appeared dismissive of the discussion.
“First of all, the movie should be made. Promotion happens after the movie is complete,” she said, indicating that she did not appear convinced about the project’s current status.
Sunita had previously reacted strongly when Govinda and Komal were spotted together. Referring to the situation, she invoked the Hindi saying “Vinash Kaale, Vipreet Buddhi”, suggesting that Govinda’s judgment had gone astray.
“His mind has become corrupted, that is why he does all this,” she had remarked while speaking to the paparazzi.
The latest comments also come amid social media discussions in which some users have referred to Govinda as “Cheater Number One”. Sunita responded by saying that she had previously faced trolling when she spoke about alleged infidelity and now wanted Govinda’s supporters and the media to address the issue themselves.
She expressed frustration over repeatedly being questioned about her husband and said she no longer wished to engage with the subject.
