Panaji, Oct 2026 : The Aam Aadmi party has begun strengthening its hold in key BJP assemblies, with AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and AAP Goa leaders addressing a volunteer meet in Cumbharjua and holding an Organisational meeting in Panaji today. AAP’s leaders were highly motivated to lead Goans to a future free of the BJP- Congress Joint Venture.
In Cumbharjua volunteers attended and took a pledge to rid Goa of the BJP-Congress Joint Venture. Volunteers shared with the AAP national convenor how everyone is fed up of being taken for granted by the BJP who in the name of change and development gave them corruption, defectors from the Congress party and betrayal. Voters even in BJP strongholds are considering AAP as the only party that can bring change in Goa.
In Panaji Arvind Kejriwal addressed AAP office bearers and motivated them to reach out to Goans right at the booth level. He shared with leaders how Goans across the state are frustrated with the BJP-Congress Joint venture. AAP office bearers also strategised the best way for the party to win the hearts and minds of Goans.
Arvind Kejriwal stated people of Goa are frustrated with both BJP & Congress, a vote for Congress is a vote for BJP. Goa has seen Govts under both BJP and Congress and people have got nothing but betrayal. It is time for a Goa free from BJP and Congress. The AAP National Convenor added that AAP is the only credible alternative to the BJP-Congress Joint Venture
AAP Goa President Valmiki Naik stated that while BJP claims to have North Goa as its stronghold the reality is that it takes its voters for granted by inducting Congress defectors who then never serve the people or their needs. He added that local residents who are upset with the BJP sarkar have stopped even considering Congress as an option as they are sure that every winning Congress Candidate will defect to BJP.
AAP Goa Organisational Secretary Prashant Naik stated that BJP’s vote base has visible cracks with their voters upset with high electricity bills, low water supply, non existent bus services, anger on lack of jobs and the deteriorating law and order of the state. He said that however no one in North Goa is taking Congress as a serious alternative as they expect any victorious Congress MLA to defect immediately to the BJP.
