Mumbai, September 2026 : Rapper Badshah and Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi have announced their separation, just five months after reportedly getting married in an intimate ceremony. The couple confirmed the decision on Monday through a joint statement shared on social media, bringing an end to weeks of speculation about the status of their relationship.
Badshah and Isha shared the announcement through their respective Instagram Stories. In the statement, the rapper said that the two had “mutually decided to part ways” and would now move forward on separate paths. He emphasised that the decision had been taken with mutual respect and requested fans and the media to respect their privacy during the period.
The couple also made it clear that they would not issue any further clarification on the matter. “This will be our only statement on the matter,” Badshah said, while urging people not to engage in speculation or make assumptions about their relationship.
The announcement comes amid reports that Isha Rikhi could be among the contestants expected to appear on the upcoming season of the popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss 20’, which is set to be hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The reports had added further public attention to the actress and her personal life in recent weeks.
Badshah and Isha reportedly began dating around four years before their marriage. They are believed to have tied the knot in March 2026 in a private ceremony attended by close family members and friends. The wedding was kept away from the public spotlight, although photographs from the ceremony later surfaced on social media through Isha’s mother, Poonam Rikhi.
In the pictures, the couple were seen wearing traditional wedding attire and taking part in customary wedding rituals. Their relationship had largely remained private, with the two rarely discussing their personal lives publicly.
Isha Rikhi has established herself in Punjabi cinema through films including ‘Jatt Boys Putt Jattan De’, ‘Ardaas’ and ‘Happy Go Lucky’. She also made her Bollywood debut with ‘Nawabzaade’.
For Badshah, the marriage was his second. He was previously married to Jasmine, with their marriage ending in divorce in 2020. His relationship with Isha subsequently became a subject of public interest after reports of their long-term association emerged.
The former couple have now asked the public to respect their decision and privacy as they move ahead separately.
