November 2026 : Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami presented special mementoes reflecting the state's cultural identity and ancient Indian civilisation to Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah during the Uttarakhand State Foundation Day celebrations.
Shah, who arrived to participate in the state celebrations, was presented with a traditional Uttarakhand cap, a shawl, a Gangajali (sacred Ganga water vessel) and a symbolic representation of Samudra Manthan (the churning of the ocean).
The souvenirs highlighted Uttarakhand's rich cultural heritage, spiritual traditions and its connection with India's ancient civilisation.
