To enhance the income of farmers and livestock owners, the State Government has decided to promote milk production across Madhya Pradesh. Dairy cooperative societies are being formed in every Gram Panchayat for milk collection. The government is encouraging farmers to supplement their income through animal husbandry and milk production alongside crop cultivation. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh currently ranks third in the country in milk production. The state aims to become the number one state in milk production within the next two years.
