Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said children are the nation's and the state's future leaders, and that children and youth are the shining stars of a bright future. The state government is committed to ensuring that children and youth have every opportunity to learn, nurture their talents and progress without hindrance. He said the government is committed to expanding modern educational facilities and creating new employment and development opportunities for youth. Madhya Pradesh’s development journey will continue uninterrupted.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed Government Sandipani School building in Narsinghpur on Sunday. Built at a cost of ₹42.52 crore, the school is part of the state government’s efforts to provide quality education and a better learning environment.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav transferred ₹213.41 crore in social security pensions through a single click to the bank accounts of more than 35.56 lakh beneficiaries. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated 31 development projects and performed the Bhoomi Poojan for several others in Narsinghpur district, with a combined cost of ₹175.14 crore. He also distributed free property registry copies and cheques to around 10 beneficiaries under the Swamitva Rights Record Execution Scheme–2026, along with benefits under various government schemes. He flagged off 15 new buses for the newly constructed Sandipani School, launching the Sandipani Bus Service.

Sandipani Schools: A Modern Expression of the Ancient Gurukul Tradition

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that an ideal teacher is like Sandipani, an ideal disciple like Krishna, and an ideal friendship like that of Krishna and Sudama. The rapidly developing Sandipani Schools are a modern expression of India’s ancient Gurukul education system and the guru–disciple tradition. The state government is taking every necessary step to improve educational quality and the learning environment. Students are being provided with modern school buildings, buses, books, uniforms and bicycles. Students scoring over 75% are provided financial assistance to purchase laptops, while school toppers receive scooters. These initiatives aim to ensure equal opportunities for all students to excel.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav Motivates Students to Pursue Their Dreams

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav shared key lessons for success, emphasising that hard work, discipline, self-confidence and a commitment to continuous learning are essential for progress. He urged students to set goals aligned with their interests and abilities and pursue them with dedication, noting that every student has the potential to succeed through focused efforts in the right direction.

Government Committed to the Welfare of Women, Farmers and the Needy

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that farmers are receiving benefits under the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Shri Narendra Modi. Ladli Behna beneficiaries receive ₹1,500 per month, meritorious students receive assistance to purchase laptops, and rural families benefit from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The government has also resolved to provide free registration of 50 lakh properties. Roads, electricity, drinking water, irrigation, infrastructure and industrial development are progressing rapidly across the state. India is currently the world’s fifth-largest economy and is poised to further strengthen its position as a global economic power.

Major Development Projects Announced for Narsinghpur

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced ₹540 crore for upgrading the Narsinghpur–Pipariya road. He also announced an Urban Forest Corridor, a paved road from Khairinaka to the railway station, and a Geeta Bhawan in the municipal area. A riverfront will be developed at Barman Ghat on the Narmada. To encourage healthy competition among livestock rearers, competitions will be held in every development block, with cash prizes of ₹1 lakh, ₹50,000 and ₹25,000 for the first-, second- and third-place winners, respectively.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said Narsinghpur would benefit from the Jabalpur Metropolitan Area. Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, tap-water connections are being provided in 50 villages of the district at a cost of ₹23.17 crore. Four roads and Government High School, Kalyanpur, were also inaugurated, while the bhoomipujan was performed for 21 development projects costing approximately ₹95 crore.

More Employment and Medical Education Opportunities for Youth

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that 2027 has been declared the Year of Youth. Public Service Commission examinations will be held twice next year. The state has made 85,000 new appointments, and recruitment to more than one lakh additional posts will begin shortly. He announced that 12 new medical colleges would open in Madhya Pradesh next year, expanding opportunities for medical education.

Madhya Pradesh Moving Ahead with the Vision of a Developed India

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said Prime Minister Shri Modi is working to make India a leading nation through a major mission of service and commitment. Madhya Pradesh stands alongside the Prime Minister at every step in the journey towards a developed India. Sandipani Schools have been established to provide children with quality education and recall the period when Lord Krishna studied under Guru Sandipani. The friendship of Krishna and Sudama teaches us to remain ready to help our friends. The joy on children’s faces reflects the value of the new Sandipani School building and bus service. The dropout rate in government schools, which was once 14%, has now fallen to zero, he said. The state continues to work towards meeting basic needs such as roads, electricity, water and education.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted Narsinghpur’s spiritual and cultural heritage, noting that the district is blessed by the sacred Narmada River. It is associated with Adi Shankaracharya’s spiritual practices, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s meditation, Veerangana Rani Durgavati’s legacy and Acharya Rajneesh Osho. Extending Navratri greetings, he said that when devotees face adversity, Lord Narasimha manifests to destroy evil.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said India’s growing presence in sports under Prime Minister Shri Modi’s leadership was reflected in the performance of Indian athletes at the 2026 Asian Games. Madhya Pradesh athletes won 11 medals, including five gold medals. India has also emerged as a leading mobile-manufacturing nation. Prime Minister Shri Modi has set the goal of making India a developed nation by 2047, and India will strive to become the world’s leading nation. He noted that Balaghat, Mandla and Dindori had long been affected by Naxalism, which severely hampered development. Through the state government’s commitment, the influence of Naxalism has been brought to an end in Madhya Pradesh. The dacoit problem in the Chambal region has also been resolved. Under the leadership of Panchayat Minister Prahlad Patel, development works worth ₹10,000 crore have been undertaken in water conservation and the Har Ghar Nal Se Jal initiative. Eligible beneficiaries are also receiving support under the Ek Bagia Maa Ke Naam scheme. Farmers in the state will benefit from river-linking projects.

Madhya Pradesh now has a road network spanning five lakh kilometres, and metro trains are operating in Bhopal and Indore. New airports are being developed to expand air connectivity. Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, Rewa, Satna and Datia have also received airport facilities. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reiterated that the state government is committed to the welfare of the poor, farmers, women and youth. This year, farmers received ₹2,625 per quintal for wheat procured by the government.

Benefits Distributed to Beneficiaries Under Various Government Schemes

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav distributed benefits to beneficiaries under various departmental schemes during the programme. Under the Revenue Department’s Swamitva Registration Scheme, e-registration documents were provided to Brijesh Kumar and Kamal Singh Patel; Ashish Kumar Jat and Jitendra Singh Jat; Saroj Sahu and Girdhari Sahu; Puran Lal and Tikaram Dubey; Bhupendra Singh Jat and Ramcharan Jat; Saligram and Deepprasad Shrivastava; Vishnu Prasad Shrivastava and Gendalal; Anup Kumar and Todal Kachhi; Vikas and Rakesh Jat; and Ashok Kumar and Raghuvir Shrivastava. Under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department, Prashant Kurmi received assistance of ₹51 lakh for a milk processing plant. Under the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Yojana of the Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department, Devesh Jat received assistance of ₹42 lakh and Sandeep Mishra received ₹36 lakh. Under the Pradhan Mantri Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme implemented by the Horticulture Department, Rajjeet Dhanoria received assistance of ₹22 lakh, while Satyam Soni received ₹9.35 lakh. Under the Livelihood Mission, benefits were distributed through Cash Credit Limit (CCL) assistance to four self-help groups: Rewa SHG, associated with Lilawati Jatav; Aditi SHG, associated with Sadhana Sharma; Pari SHG, associated with Roshni Mehra; and Radha SHG, associated with Lakshmi Kushwaha.

Education and Development Initiatives Praised by Public Representatives

School Education and Transport Minister Uday Pratap Singh said the people of Narsinghpur had received a magnificent new Sandipani School building. A total of 375 Sandipani Schools have been completed across the state. Students are being provided with laptops, scooters and bicycles. He said Madhya Pradesh had presented a budget of ₹4.5 lakh crore this year through continuous policy improvements and better financial management. Under Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s leadership, the state has also introduced convenient bus services, which will benefit schoolchildren in their daily commute.

Narmadapuram MP Darshan Singh Choudhary said the new Sandipani School building, inaugurated during Navratri, would help secure a bright future for children. Under Prime Minister Modi’s guidance, India is progressing rapidly in agriculture, industry, technology and other sectors.

MP Faggan Singh Kulaste said Madhya Pradesh had achieved unprecedented progress in education. He praised Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s determination and noted that the state was setting new records in agriculture.

Former minister Jalam Singh Patel said Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was consistently working to create better opportunities for youth. He also highlighted the state’s campaign against substance abuse and said strict action was being taken to protect young people from addiction. He added that Narsinghpur’s sugarcane farmers were receiving fair prices for their produce.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inspected the newly constructed Sandipani School building, including classrooms, the library, music room, laboratory and other educational facilities. He reviewed the arrangements made to provide students with a better academic environment.

Blood Donation Camp and Nutrition Exhibition Organised Under Seva Sankalp Campaign

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in a blood donation camp and nutrition exhibition organised on the school premises under the Seva Sankalp Campaign. He felicitated senior citizens and encouraged needy students by presenting them with essential items.

MLA Mahendra Nagesh, State Women’s Commission member Sadhana Sthapak, Devi Singh Patel, Narsinghpur District Panchayat Chairperson Jyoti Nilesh Kakodia, Ram Snehi Pathak, other local public representatives and a large number of residents were present at the event.
