Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav directed officials to ensure that public-related matters are resolved within the stipulated time frame. Efforts should be made to complete citizens’ work before they are required to approach the helpline. All priority public matters must be resolved on time.
The State Government has launched weekly camps and dialogue sessions under the Mukhyamantri Jan Vishwas Abhiyan 2026. The initiative has yielded encouraging results over the past three weeks. If Friday camps and dialogue sessions cannot be held due to a festival or other reasons, they should be conducted on the following Saturday.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav issued these directions during a special meeting with senior departmental officials at Mantralaya. Chief Secretary Shri Ashok Barnwal, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Neeraj Mandloi and other officials were present.
Biometric Attendance at Mantralaya, Vindhyachal and Satpura
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said the State Government has launched the Mukhyamantri Jan Vishwas Abhiyan 2026 to promote accountable governance. The initiative has helped resolve a large number of pending public grievances and issues. He directed officials to prepare a month-long plan in advance for the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan so that citizens can derive maximum benefit from the dialogue sessions and camps.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said a biometric attendance system is being introduced at Mantralaya as well as Vindhyachal and Satpura Bhawans in the state capital. The system will subsequently be extended to districts across the state. Senior officials will monitor whether officers and employees report to work on time and complete their assigned tasks within the stipulated period.
Free Registration of Rural Residential Land
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed officials to complete the necessary land-record registration for free registration of rural residential land, constitute joint district-level committees comprising officials from the Revenue and Panchayat & Rural Development departments, and identify unencumbered government land in villages. A roadmap should be finalised for a campaign to ensure all eligible rural residents benefit from free registration, enabling them to access bank loans easily. He also directed officials to initiate the process of declaring residential land in rural areas and providing housing leases to landless persons.
Narmada Samagra Mission (NAMAN)
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed the Panchayat and Rural Development Department to complete the formalities for establishing and implementing the Narmada Samagra Mission (NAMAN) at the earliest. The mission will work towards keeping Maa Narmada, the lifeline of Madhya Pradesh, clean and flowing, while undertaking comprehensive development initiatives focused on environmental conservation, pollution prevention, cultural and social participation, and inter-departmental coordination.
Water Supply and Sewerage Management in Major Cities
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said urban local bodies are responsible for ensuring proper management of drinking water supply and sewerage in urban areas. Priority should be given to ensuring adequate drinking water for citizens. He directed that adequate technical manpower from the Public Health Engineering Department be deployed so that, under the administrative control of the Urban Development and Housing Department, such personnel can be deputed to urban areas as required. The Chief Minister also directed that interested technical officers and employees of the Public Health Engineering Department working against posts available in the model staffing structure of urban local bodies be absorbed on a one-time basis.
Development of Chitrakoot and Other Religious Tourism Destinations
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed officials to expedite development works at major religious and tourism destinations across the state. Ten works are being undertaken along the Lord Shri Ram Van Gaman Path at a cost of ₹160 crore, while works at 20 other locations along the route have been identified. The Forest Department has granted the necessary permission for development of the Kamdagiri Parikrama Marg in Chitrakoot, with 12.50 hectares of forest land identified for expanding tourism facilities. He directed officials to complete the necessary works for the development of the Gupt Godavari Temple complex and other locations. The Chief Minister also discussed the Mandakini River Linking Scheme and development of a joint pilgrimage destination. He directed officials to implement approved works for the development of the premises of Mamleshwar Temple in Omkareshwar, along with religious destinations in Datia and Orchha. Development works worth ₹225 crore are also being implemented at various levels under the Lord Shri Krishna Pathay Project.
Crowd Management Measures for Simhastha
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed officials to focus not only on expediting various works for Simhastha 2028, but also on implementing measures to facilitate effective crowd management. Facilities useful to devotees are being developed at several temples in Ujjain and major religious destinations across the state. Comprehensive development of major religious sites in Ujjain will also be undertaken through the Temple Bond mechanism. The Chief Minister also reviewed the facilities being developed at various religious destinations across the state.
Arrangements for Home Guards and Security Forces
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reviewed measures to increase the capacity of the State Industrial Security Force, engage youth from the Baiga, Bharia and Sahariya Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups through a special recruitment process, and finalise the Home Guard recruitment rules to conduct the recruitment examination. The meeting also discussed the utility and formation of the Madhya Pradesh State Rapid Action Force. The Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, briefed the Chief Minister on the process being followed in this regard. The Chief Minister directed officials to complete all proposed works within the stipulated time frame.
