In astrology, the 5th house represents children, education, future planning and mindset. As part of the Dharma Trikona, its planetary combinations and their strength are believed to influence a person’s decisiveness and approach to life.
The human mind is like a parliament of stars, where different thoughts and perspectives compete for control. Before confronting challenges in the outside world, we must first recognise and overcome the conflicts within ourselves. When our vision is clear, winning this inner battle becomes the first step towards achieving our goals.
To succeed in the external world, we must learn to manage the planetary influences within the inner parliament of our minds.
According to astrology, the human body represents the complete structure of the Kal Purush Kundali, or the cosmic person’s birth chart.
The Moon represents the mind. Just as we trust our mother, we often follow the voice of our mind without questioning it. The mind guides our thoughts, emotions and decisions, but it also requires awareness and understanding.
The Sun represents the heart. The bond between a father and child is built on mutual love, yet love and understanding are not the same. While love comes naturally, understanding requires conscious effort and a willingness to see things clearly.
To succeed in life, we may need to trust our instincts and inner voice, much as we trust our mother. At the same time, we must remain open-eyed and thoughtful, seeking deeper understanding, much as we learn to understand our father.
In astrology, the Moon and the Sun hold exceptional significance. Together, they symbolise the mind and the heart—the two forces that shape our perceptions, choices and actions.
Understanding these forces within ourselves can help us make wiser decisions and navigate life with greater clarity.
