Seva Yagya for Women’s Empowerment; Gau Arpan to Around 76 Needy Women from Backward and Tribal Communities
Statewide ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ to Commence from September 17 to Mark 25 Years of Shri Narendra Modi’s Dedicated Public Service and Commitment to the Nation

Gandhinagar, September 2026: On the Eve of the 76th Birthday of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the “Gau – Matrushakti Sanskriti Namo Vandan” and Women Empowerment Ceremony was Organised by the Sitavan Gir Gaushala Parivar, Ahmedabad, in the Presence of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel.
On this occasion, CM stated that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Bhai Modi will complete 25 years of Dedicated Public Service and Commitment to the Nation on October 7. To mark his journey of public service, the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ is being celebrated across the nation from September 17. Ahead of this occasion, the Gau Daan and Seva Parv commenced in Ahmedabad today, which is highly commendable.
CM further stated that the Prime Minister is committed to reaching every person in society, bringing positive change to the lives of the poor, and realising the vision of a Viksit Bharat through ‘Sauno Saath, Sauno Vikas, Sauno Vishwas and Sauno Prayas’.
Our resolve is to build a Viksit Gujarat for a Viksit Bharat, and a truly Viksit Gujarat can be achieved only by bringing poor, deprived and tribal people at the grassroots into the mainstream. He further stated that the Sitavan Gaushala Parivar has taken a highly commendable step in this direction by undertaking Gau Daan to 76 women from tribal, widow and backward communities.
Speaking about the importance of Gau, Ganga and Gayatri in Sanatan culture, the CM said that the cow is closely connected with rural life, provides support to farmers and strengthens the family’s economic well-being. He said that Gau Daan to women to help them become economically Atmanirbhar reflects the Prime Minister’s philosophy of compassion for living beings and love for nature.
CM stated that under the guidance of the Prime Minister, the state government is continuously working for the holistic development of tribal and backward communities. Tribal areas have been provided with basic facilities such as education, healthcare, employment, housing, drinking water, irrigation, all-weather roads and 24x7 electricity.
Furthermore, under the Integrated Dairy Development Scheme, women in 14 tribal districts are provided with two milch animals, livestock insurance, transportation and treatment assistance. He highlighted that more than 1.85 lakh livestock have been provided to tribal women beneficiaries so far, helping them become Atmanirbhar.
Referring to cow-based natural farming, the CM added that the state government is continuously promoting natural farming by providing financial assistance to farmers for maintaining indigenous cows.
CM urged everyone to participate in the ‘Aashirwad no Divo’ initiative launched under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, being organised to mark the Prime Minister’s 25-year Jan Seva Parv, and to light Aashirwad no Divo at 7:00 PM on Thursday.
On the occasion of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s birthday, Sitavan Gir Gaushala undertook a special Seva Sankalp of Gau Daan of 76 healthy indigenous Gir cows to 76 needy women of the state.
Notably, Sitavan Gir Gaushala, managed by Daskroi MLA Shri Babubhai Jamnadas Patel and his family, has been continuously working for cow protection, conservation and service. Similarly, Shri Vaibhavbhai Patel plays an important role in coordinating and managing various service activities of the Gaushala.
The objective of this initiative is not merely to donate cows. Along with cow service, it aims to provide women from tribal, poor and economically weaker families with a means of self-employment and a sustainable source of income, helping them become Atmanirbhar.
On this occasion, Sadguru Shastri Swami Shri Atmaprakashdasji, State BJP Organisation General Secretary Shri Ratnakarji, MP Shri Devusinh Chauhan, MLA Shri Babubhai Patel, former minister and senior leader Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, Ahmedabad District BJP President Shri Shailesh Davda, dignitaries and a large number of citizens were present.
