During his 2014 visit to Kashi, the Prime Minister said, “Maa Ganga has called me.” Since then, the relationship between Kashi and the Prime Minister has gone beyond political representation. A new relationship has emerged between the development of Kashi, spiritual renaissance and the overall development of Uttar Pradesh."
CM added, "Under the Prime Minister’s guidance and through coordination between the Center and the state under the ‘double-engine’ government, a new work culture for development has evolved in Uttar Pradesh. Before 2017, Uttar Pradesh struggled with administrative inertia, insecurity, and a lack of basic amenities. Subsequently, transparent and technology-driven good governance, strong law and order, modern infrastructure and an investment-friendly environment were made the foundation of development."

He added, "Metro networks have expanded in Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Meerut, Ghaziabad and Noida-Greater Noida. The CM described it as the largest airport in Uttar Pradesh and a project that will develop into one of the country’s major aviation hubs in the future."
The Chief Minister said, "Uttar Pradesh is emerging as one of the country’s major logistics and industrial hubs. Dadri has become a key junction of the Eastern and Western Dedicated Freight Corridors. More than 1,050 kilometers of dedicated freight corridor passes through the state. Varanasi has developed the country’s first multimodal inland port terminal on National Waterway-1 and the country’s first freight village spread over 100 acres. The BrahMos missile assembly unit in Lucknow, the Uttar Pradesh Defense Industrial Corridor and the 1,000-acre PM MITRA Textile Park are setting a new direction for industrial development."

Kashi Vishwanath Dham was redeveloped, and a grand and divine corridor was created from the Ganga ghats to Baba Vishwanath Dham.
