Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated a new industrial unit of J.K. Lifecare Centre Pvt. Ltd. at Vikram Udyogpuri in Ujjain on Saturday. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that life is invaluable and its true purpose lies in serving others. He said, “We must collectively help every helpless, suffering and needy person and save lives. This is our human duty and the essence of life.” The Chief Minister added that the J.K. Group’s commitment to serving humanity is a cause in which everyone is a stakeholder.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that new industrial units are being inaugurated or their foundation stones laid in Madhya Pradesh almost every 15 days. He said this reflects the state’s industry-friendly policies and the growing confidence of investors from India and abroad. He said Madhya Pradesh have immense potential with unlimited opportunities, and invited investors to invest in the state without hesitation. The Chief Minister said that the state government would provide all necessary facilities, support and security.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Malwa is emerging as one of the country’s major pharmaceutical hubs. More than 300 pharmaceutical units are operational in Madhya Pradesh, with the pharmaceutical sector accounting for around 20 per cent of the state’s total exports. He expressed confidence that the new J.K. Lifecare Centre unit would give fresh impetus to pharmaceutical manufacturing, research, innovation and employment in Ujjain.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Ujjain possesses a rich legacy of “Natural Intelligence” (NI). He said Ujjain has held a unique place in the world across different eras, with personalities such as Lord Shri Krishna, Samrat Vikramaditya and Raja Bhoj associated with its history. The Chief Minister also referred to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi entrusting Lieutenant General Shri Gurmeet Singh with the responsibility of serving as the Governor of Uttarakhand. He said that Governor Shri Singh has discharged his responsibilities effectively in the sacred land of Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister said that Dr. Katyayan Mishra and Dr. Jaya Mishra, owners of J.K. Lifecare Centre Pvt. Ltd., have established a distinct identity through their contributions to the development of Ujjain across various fields.
Vikram Udyogpuri Emerging as a Hub of New Industries
Governor of Uttarakhand Lieutenant General Shri Gurmeet Singh said that a major beginning towards a developed and self-reliant India is being made from the land of Mahakal. Under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, everyone has resolved to contribute towards making India the world’s number one economy. He said that development and infrastructure works are progressing rapidly in preparation for the grand Simhastha 2028 in Ujjain.
Governor Shri Singh attributed the pace of development to the dedicated efforts of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. He said that Vikram Udyogpuri in the city of Mahakal has received the blessings to flourish and that the industries and projects being established here would become examples of success. India has reached new heights in modern science while meeting the challenges of the 21st century, he said, adding that the aspirations of every section are being fulfilled in the new India.
Governor Shri Singh said that every citizen of Madhya Pradesh is committed to nation-building and the prosperity of the state. He highlighted the important role being played by the pharmaceutical sector in the state’s development and noted that Uttarakhand is also progressing in this sector. He said Prime Minister Shri Modi has set the goal of Viksit Bharat @2047.
API, Pharmaceutical Intermediates and Fine Chemicals to Be Manufactured
An investment of approximately ₹47 crore is being made in the J.K. Group’s new unit. The facility will manufacture Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), pharmaceutical intermediates and fine chemicals. The unit is expected to provide direct employment to more than 300 people, while generating indirect employment opportunities for thousands through supply chains, transportation, packaging and technical services.
Skill Development and Employment Minister of State (Independent Charge) and Ujjain district in-charge Minister Shri Gautam Tetwal, MLA Shri Anil Jain Kaluheda, Simhastha Fair Authority Chairman Shri Jagdish Agrawal, Mayor Shri Mukesh Tatwal and several other public representatives and local residents were present on the occasion. At the conclusion of the programme, Madhya Pradesh Housing Board Chairman Shri Om Jain proposed the vote of thanks.
