206 Lekhpals and 79 Collection Amins promoted to Revenue Inspector
Timely promotions will boost personnel morale and strengthen the efficiency of revenue administration
Lucknow, November 2026 : The Yogi government has given the personnel of the Revenue Board the gift of promotion on the occasion of Diwali. The Revenue Board, Uttar Pradesh, has promoted 285 departmental personnel to the post of Revenue Inspector. These include 206 Lekhpals and 79 Collection Amins. This decision has benefited eligible personnel who had been awaiting promotion for a long time.
Revenue Board Chairman B.L. Meena informed that special emphasis is being laid by the Revenue Board on completing the promotion process for departmental personnel within the stipulated time. In this regard, 285 personnel have been assigned the responsibilities of higher posts on the basis of eligibility. This decision of the Yogi government will boost the morale of personnel and also strengthen the administrative structure of the Revenue Department.
Chairman also informed that promotion to the post of Revenue Inspector will enable more effective utilisation of the experience and efficiency of personnel in the execution of departmental work. The Revenue Board is making efforts to safeguard the interests of personnel, ensure transparency in the promotion process and provide eligible employees with the benefits of promotion in a timely manner.
