State-Level Agricultural Festival in Parli from August 21
Agriculture Minister Dhananjay Munde: Numerous Farmer-Friendly Initiatives, Including Agricultural and Livestock Exhibitions
Mumbai : The Maharashtra State Agriculture Department will be organizing a five-day state-level Agricultural Festival in Parli Vaijnath, Beed district, starting from August 21. This festival will feature a grand state-level agricultural and livestock exhibition, along with several important initiatives aimed at guiding farmers across the state, according to Agriculture Minister Dhananjay Munde.
The festival is designed to help farmers access the latest innovations discovered by agricultural universities, purchase various modern equipment, and learn about new government initiatives and products. The festival will be inaugurated on August 21 at 12:00 PM by Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis, and Ajit Pawar.
During this Agricultural Festival, farmers will have access to information on various useful agricultural tools, drone spraying demonstrations, new research findings, seminars, as well as various products and livestock breeds.
Preparation Review by Agriculture Minister Dhananjay Munde
Minister Dhananjay Munde reviewed the preparations for the Agricultural Festival at the Government Rest House in Parli. Present at the review were District Collector Avinash Pathak, Superintendent of Police Avinash Baragle, CEO of the Zilla Parishad Sangeeta Devi Patil, Joint Director of Agriculture Mr. Divekar, Mr. Mote, District Superintendent Agriculture Officer Subhash Salve, and Tehsildar Venkatesh Munde, along with other agriculture, revenue, and police officials.
Minister Munde inspected the ongoing preparations at the Market Committee Ground in Parli, where the festival is set to take place. He reviewed the arrangements for the main event, including the construction of the main stage, seating arrangements, the setting up of hundreds of stalls for farmers, parking, food services, and security. He issued directives to ensure that all arrangements are executed efficiently.
