Adjusted Spinfed Employees in Cooperative Societies to Receive Regular Pay Scale; 110 Employees to Benefit

Jaipur : Minister of State for Cooperatives (Independent Charge), Mr. Gautam Kumar Dak, announced on Friday that Spinfed employees who have been adjusted in various cooperative institutions such as cooperative banks, Zilla Bhandar, and PLDB, will now be entitled to receive the regular pay scale applicable to their respective institutions. This decision will benefit around 110 employees.

Mr. Dak explained that Spinfed was liquidated in 2017, and in order to secure the livelihood of its employees, they were placed on reverse deputation in various cooperative institutions based on their qualifications. In 2020, these employees were placed on minimum wages in the cooperatives. However, due to differences in the pay scales between Spinfed and cooperative institutions, they were not receiving the regular pay scale benefits. Following the employees’ persistent demands, the Cooperative Department has now issued an order to grant them the regular pay scale.

The Minister further elaborated that, effective from the date the Spinfed employees assumed their posts in cooperatives, they will be paid a fixed salary for their position during a two-year probationary period, in accordance with the rules. They will receive whichever salary is higher, and after successfully completing the probationary period, they will be eligible for the regular pay scale applicable to the respective cooperative institution.
