2 Mizo Battalion NCC Cadets Donate Blood
Cadets of the 2 Mizo Battalion National Cadet Corps (NCC), based in Lunglei, participated in a blood donation camp today, marking the 76th NCC Day. The event was organized to commemorate this significant occasion and provide a meaningful contribution to society.
The blood donation camp was held at the 2 Mizo Bn NCC headquarters, located in Lunglei Sazaikawna Multipurpose Building. Cadets from various colleges and schools came together for this noble cause. The event was also graced by the presence of the 2 Mizo Bn NCC Commanding Officer, Colonel Aman Chowdhary.
The donated blood was collected for the Christian Hospital Serkawn Blood Bank. Medical staff from the blood bank arrived at Sazaikawna to facilitate the collection process. A total of 22 cadets, including 4 female and 18 male participants, donated blood during the camp.
The 2 Mizo Bn NCC is the sole NCC battalion in southern Mizoram, serving as a hub for cadets across the region. It regularly organizes training programs and activities for NCC cadets from various schools and colleges, fostering discipline, service, and leadership among young individuals.
