Paresh Rawal Bows Out of Hera Pheri 3, Returns Signing Fee
Veteran actor Paresh Rawal has officially exited the much-anticipated film Hera Pheri 3, leaving fans disappointed. The film also stars Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty in lead roles. Although Rawal had previously confirmed his departure from the franchise through a tweet, he clarified that it wasn’t due to creative differences.
Fans had still hoped for his return to the iconic series, but recent reports confirm his complete withdrawal. A source revealed, the actor has returned the signing amount of ₹11 lakh to the producers. Not only that, he also paid 15% annual interest on the amount and added a small extra sum as compensation for stepping away from the project, showing his professionalism despite his decision to leave.”
The source further shared that Rawal was expected to receive ₹15 crore for his role. However, the deal included a clause stating that the remaining ₹14.89 crore would be paid only one month after the film’s release. With shooting scheduled to begin next year and the release projected for 2026 or 2027, the long delay in payment reportedly discouraged the actor from continuing.
Rawal’s exit marks a major change for the Hera Pheri franchise, known for its cult following and comic legacy. Fans will now have to wait and see who replaces him in this eagerly awaited sequel.
