Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai gives gift to Mitanins, online incentive amount released.

On Friday, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai released online incentives to Mitanins in the state. In which about 4 crores have been paid directly to the accounts of 3300 Mitanins in Surguja district. The district level Mitanin conference organized in the CMHO office hall was held under the chairmanship of MLA Ambikapur Shri Rajesh Agarwal in the special hospitality of Collector Shri Vilas Bhoskar. Along with this, programs were organized in all the development blocks of the district in the presence of local public representatives and Mitanin sisters.

Under the Nava Saugat program, the Mitanin incentive amount was paid directly from the state level to the bank accounts of Mitanin sisters through a state level program organized by Chief Minister Shri Sai at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium Raipur. On this occasion, MLA Shri Agarwal while addressing the Mitanins present said that earlier Mitanins had to wait for the incentive amount, but now under the direction of Chief Minister Shri Sai, the amount will be provided from the state level within the stipulated time in a month. He said that Mitanins are women volunteers whose role is to provide outreach services at the family level, build community organizations and try to improve the health system. He congratulated all the Mitanins on this gift given by the Chief Minister.

Collector Shri Bhoskar said on this occasion that today Mitanin is showing her dedication in the last corner of the village. Mitanins play an important role in the smooth running of other government and social activities along with health. They make continuous efforts in providing information about institutional delivery, vaccination, nutrition, diarrhea, vomiting diarrhea, malaria and other health programs at the village level and in their successful implementation. The more empowered, influential and strong the position of women in the society, the more advanced, civilized and progressive the society is. Due to the activeness of Mitanins in the village, deliveries in the villages and houses have reduced and institutional deliveries have increased. The Collector instructed all Mitanins to ensure that the evaluation and verification of incentive amount on the basis of work is completed before the stipulated time so that the Mitanins can get the amount at the stipulated time at the state level.

Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. R.N. Gupta said that due to continuous awareness by Mitanin, mothers remain alert towards the nutrition of children. Which saves children from dangers like malnutrition. This work of Mitanin has reduced the birth and death rate. Mitanin program has improved the living standards of rural women. A total of 3300 Mitanins are working in Surguja, to whom the Chief Minister transferred incentive amount of about 4 crore rupees directly to their accounts on the basis of work in today’s program. In the same sequence, Mitanin Mrs. Meena, Parvati, Anaro, Neebha, Anita and Vimala who did excellent work were given certificates by the guests and shawls were given as incentive to all the Mitanin sisters present as an incentive.

In this program, Civil Surgeon Dr. J.K. Relwani, Dr. Y.K. Kindo, Dr. Pushpendra Ram, Ms. Seema, District Mitanin Mrs. Ruby Soni, Mrs. Shashi Rajwade and Mitanin sisters from urban and rural areas and officers and employees were present.
