Collector Inspects Prayas Vidyalaya and Eklavya Residential School Construction in Ghanghari

Collector Mr. Vilas Bhoskar inspected Eklavya Residential School at Ghanghari on Wednesday. At present, Eklavya Residential Schools Sitapur, Batouli and Lundra are operating in the same campus in Ghanghari, in which separate girls and boys hostels are designated for residential arrangements. Collector Mr. Bhoskar inspected both the buildings and observed the facilities of living, food and toilets of the children. First of all, taking information about the attendance of the students, he said that Eklavya schools are being run by the government with the intention of connecting tribal children to the mainstream by giving them better education and giving them opportunities for a good future, children should get the benefit of this. He instructed Assistant Commissioner of Tribal Development Department Mr. DP Nagesh to contact the relatives to send the absent children to school and hostel. He said that the attendance of the children should be 100 percent. Submit the report of the attendance of the children every month. Similarly, he inspected the food of the children in the hostel and the cleanliness in the toilets and gave necessary instructions.

During this, Collector Mr. Bhoskar talked to the children directly and got to know their needs. The children spoke openly and demanded a computer lab from the collector, on which the collector immediately directed the assistant commissioner to ensure necessary arrangements to start the lab within 15 days. Along with this, he also took information about the health checkup of the children from time to time. Shift Prayas Residential School to the new building before 15 August

While inspecting the building under construction for Prayas Residential School, Ambikapur, the collector said that shift Prayas Residential School to the new building before 15 August. Finishing work of the building is going on. The collector directed EE PWD Mr. VK Bediya to complete the pending works on war footing in the next ten days, increase labor if needed. He instructed Assistant Commissioner Mr. Nagesh to prepare for shifting the students. At present, Prayas Vidyalaya is being run in the building located in the girls campus.

Inspected the arrangements by inspecting the Pahadi Korwa Residential School –
In the series of inspection, the collector reached the Pahadi Korwa Girls and Boys Residential Schools and saw the arrangements for living, teaching and food for the children. Collector Mr. Bhoskar took information about the teaching. During this, he instructed the EE PWD present there to prepare a proposal for the construction of a joint kitchen and dining hall for both the schools so that the children can get better facilities. Similarly, he also instructed to improve the living and hygiene arrangements of the children.
