District-Level Orientation Workshop: Adi Karmayogi Campaign to Transform 177 Villages in Jaipur

Comprehensive Discussion on Holistic Development in Tribal Areas; Better Governance Model to be Implemented

Jaipur, Sept 2025: A district-level orientation workshop under the Adi Karmayogi Campaign, initiated by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, was held on Monday at the Jaipur Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni.

Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad, Mrs. Pratibha Verma, informed that the campaign, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is a national initiative aimed at ensuring responsible governance and last-mile service delivery in tribal regions. Across the country, in one lakh tribal-majority villages, 20 individuals each are being selected as Adi Karmayogi, Adi Sahayogi, and Adi Saathi.

In Jaipur district, 177 villages across 10 blocks have been selected. Their holistic development will be ensured through the convergence of 25 major activities from 17 departments under the Dharti Aba Tribal Village Utkarsh Abhiyan.

At the Gram Panchayat level, responsibilities as Adi Karmayogi have been assigned to village servants, patwaris, anganwadi workers, livestock assistants, headmasters, employees of Public Health Engineering and Electricity Departments, ASHA workers, ANMs, Sathins, agriculture supervisors, forest guards, cooperative society managers, and women leaders from Rajivika groups.

Similarly, local youth, teachers, doctors, social workers, ward members, sarpanches, NGO members, and traditional community leaders (Patel, Gameti, Gram Mukhiya) will be selected as Adi Sahayogi and Adi Saathi.

Under the campaign, Adi Seva Kendras (Service Centers) have been established, where officials from education, health, women & child development, panchayati raj, agriculture, and other departments will be available once a week to resolve villagers’ issues on the spot.

The workshop was attended by district-level officers and master trainers from departments of Rural Development, Public Health & Engineering, Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd., Medical & Health, Petroleum, Women & Child Development, Education, AYUSH, Tribal Development, Telecom, Skill & Livelihood Development, IT, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairy, and Panchayati Raj.
