Saints and Monks Play Key Role in Maintaining Discipline in Society: CM Dr. Yadav

Bhopal, Sept 2025 : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that saints and monks have played a crucial role in keeping society disciplined. The messages and teachings of religious leaders have preserved Indian culture. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the 14th Convention and Shri Sangh Milan Ceremony of the Jain Shwetambar Malwa Federation held in Indore on Saturday.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that starting from Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17, the state will launch a “Seva Pakhwada Abhiyan.” Various activities and programs will be organized in all districts as part of the campaign. He urged everyone to actively participate in the initiative.

The Chief Minister further said that opportunities for industrial development, investment, and self-employment are being expanded in the state. Efforts have been made to protect cows and gaushalas, and to increase milk production through milk cooperatives. These initiatives are helping the state move towards self-reliance.

During the Sangh Milan Ceremony, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav received blessings from Acharya Vishwratna Sagar. He was welcomed with Mangal Kalash and a shower of auspicious rice grains. Devotees from other states and districts also attended the two-day event.

On the occasion, Acharya Vishwratna Sagar addressed attendees with his blessings. He said that the state government’s head, with his simplicity, approachability, and coordination, is leading the state towards development. The work done in areas of new industries, employment, and religious trusts in the state is unparalleled. The government has promoted various people-centric initiatives.

The ceremony was attended by Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat, Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargav, MLAs Shri Golu Shukla, Smt. Malini Goud, Shri Madhu Verma, Shri Ramesh Mendola, office bearers and members of the Shwetambar Malwa Federation, as well as senior administrative officials.
