CEO Reviews Voter List Revision; Jaipur Leads in Booked Calls

Chief Electoral Officer Reviews Preparations for Upcoming Special Intensive Revision Program — 2,926 Calls Booked with BLOs in Just 2 Days through ‘Book a Call with BLO’

Jaipur, Sept 2025 : Chief Electoral Officer Mr. Naveen Mahajan on Friday reviewed the preparations for the Special Intensive Revision Program. Through a video conference from the Secretariat, he issued necessary directions to all Divisional Commissioners and District Election Officers.

Mr. Mahajan informed that the Election Commission of India has launched an integrated ECINet app/website, which also features ‘Book a Call with BLO’. This enables voters to directly connect with their Booth Level Officer (BLO) to obtain various types of information. He said this feature has brought several new conveniences for voters.

He added that voters can also obtain names and mobile numbers of BLOs, BLO supervisors, AEROs, EROs, Deputy District Election Officers, and District Election Officers through the official district election officer’s website.

How to book a call with BLO:
Voters must first visit the ECINet app or website and click on “Voter Services,” then select “Book a Call with BLO.” Three options will appear—EPIC number, reference number, or others. By filling any one of these and entering the mobile number, the voter will receive an OTP. After entering the OTP and clicking on “Request Call Back,” both the voter and the BLO will receive confirmation of the booked call.

Within just two days, 2,926 voters across the state have booked calls with BLOs through this app. The highest number of bookings was from Jaipur district (408 calls), followed by Jodhpur (167) and Sikar (140). In terms of responding to calls, Alwar district ranked first, followed by Udaipur and Dausa.

Mr. Mahajan said this facility is yet another significant step towards providing voters with services that are more accessible, transparent, and accountable.
