Chief Minister Addresses 44th Annual MESA Conference
Aizawl, Sept 2025: Today, Mizoram Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma presided over the 44th Annual Conference of the Mizoram Engineer Service Association (MESA) held at the P&E Conference Hall, Mineco.
During the event, Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma stated that the MESA Conference is an important platform. He appreciated the engineers for their role in state development and emphasized that government policies and support should ensure their contributions are fully recognized. He mentioned that through their skills and various initiatives, engineers are helping improve the lives of citizens and enhance efficiency across departments. The Chief Minister urged members to continue working diligently for the progress of the state, ensuring high-quality service and strong departmental coordination. He added that the conference also serves as a forum for knowledge sharing and innovation.
Today’s session was presided over by Er. H. Zoramliana, who addressed the attendees on MESA achievements and updates. Er. Zoramliana presented the 2024-25 MESA report, highlighting activities carried out during the year. He also outlined plans regarding pension schemes for MESA members, which were discussed in the session. The conference concluded with informative sessions and discussions for the benefit of all members.
