Rajasthan to set up first e-bus manufacturing plant in Ghiloth, land allotted for ₹1,200 crore project
Jaipur, Oct 2025 : Rajasthan’s first electric bus manufacturing plant will soon be established at Ghiloth in the Kotputli-Behror district. The state government has allotted 65.56 acres (2,65,329 sq. meters) of land in the Ghiloth Industrial Area of Neemrana tehsil for the project.
The land has been allocated to PMI Electro Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd. through RIICO under an MoU signed during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit. The company will invest around ₹1,200 crore in the initial phase. In addition to electric buses, the plant will also manufacture bus bodies, motors, batteries, wire harnesses, and other spare parts.
A delegation from PMI Electro Mobility Solutions met Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma at his residence on Tuesday and expressed gratitude for the state government’s prompt and efficient land allotment process.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the state government is consistently taking decisions to promote industrial growth, job creation, and infrastructure development. He stated that this plant marks a significant step toward realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ vision.
“This initiative will give new momentum to Rajasthan’s industrial progress and position the state as a major hub for electric vehicle manufacturing in the country,” he said.
The Chief Minister added that youth in Rajasthan will receive training in electro-mobility technologies, creating ample direct and indirect employment opportunities. The introduction of e-buses, he said, will not only boost green energy and sustainable transportation but also make urban transport services more efficient and eco-friendly.
Senior officials from the Chief Minister’s Office were present at the meeting along with PMI Electro Mobility Solutions Managing Director Satish Kumar Jain, CEO Dr. Aanchal Jain, Executive Director Gajendra Yadav, Director Deepanshu Dwivedi, and Plant Head Harish Yadav.
