WCD Officials Sing ‘Vande Mataram’; 63,000 Anganwadis to Join on November 13

Jaipur, Nov 2025 — To mark 150 years of the national song Vande Mataram, officials and employees of the Women and Child Development (WCD) Department, including the Directorate of Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) and the Directorate of Women Empowerment, participated in a collective singing of Vande Mataram on Monday.

ICDS Director Vasudev Malawat informed that, as per state government directives, programmes are being organised across districts and blocks from 7 to 15 November 2025 to honour the historic significance of Vande Mataram and to inspire patriotism, unity, and self-reliance among citizens. As part of this series, officers and staff at the ICDS headquarters collectively sang Vande Mataram.
He added that on 13 November (Thursday), the national song will also be sung across 63,000 Anganwadi centres in the state.

Vande Mataram and the ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ Pledge

Women Empowerment Commissioner Neetu Rajeswar said that at the Directorate of Women Empowerment, officials and staff collectively sang Vande Mataram in the presence of school students on Monday.
On this occasion, a street play was performed to spread the message of ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’, followed by administering the pledge to support the campaign.
