Green Signal for Dullapur–Newariguda–Kanahabhaira Road Construction — A Boost to Rural Development

Raipur, Nov 2025 : A new chapter of development has begun for District Panchayat Kawardha, Zone No. 10. Due to the continuous efforts of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, long-awaited approval of ₹7 crore has been granted for the construction of the crucial Dullapur–Newariguda–Kanahabhaira–Kanjheta road. This decision fulfils a long-standing demand of the local residents and is set to become a milestone in the region’s development journey.

Expressing gratitude to Deputy Chief Minister Sharma for this public-welfare decision, residents said that the absence of a proper road had caused years of difficulty—particularly in transportation, education access, healthcare facilities, and trade. With the road construction now approved, these challenges will be resolved, giving a strong boost to the region’s socio-economic progress.

District Panchayat Zone 10 member Shri Kailash Chandravanshi said that Deputy Chief Minister Sharma has been consistently active in the overall development of the area. Under his guidance, several important infrastructure projects are being approved to strengthen the region’s foundation.

He highlighted that the Dullapur–Newariguda–Kanahabhaira road serves as the lifeline of the entire zone. The road will be constructed from the canal crossing at Dullapur to Newariguda, passing along the outskirts of the village—effectively functioning as a bypass for both Dullapur and Newariguda. This project will significantly enhance mobility and ease of access across the region.

Chandravanshi further informed that preparations for starting the road construction are progressing rapidly. Once completed, transportation facilities in rural pockets will improve substantially, while education, healthcare, and commercial activities will receive a major boost.

Local representatives and citizens said that this approval reflects Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma’s sensitivity, foresight, and dedication to public service.
