ECI Extends Special Voter List Revision; Rajasthan Achieves 100% Digitisation in Key Areas

Jaipur, Nov 2025 — Chief Electoral Officer Shri Naveen Mahajan informed that the Election Commission of India (ECI) has revised and extended the relevant dates for the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in 12 states/UTs by one week, with 01.01.2026 as the qualifying date.

He shared the updated schedule for the Special Intensive Revision:

  1. Enumeration Phase: Till 11 December 2025 (Thursday)
  2. Publication of Draft Electoral Roll: 16 December 2025 (Tuesday)
  3. Period for Filing Claims and Objections: 16 December 2025 (Tuesday) to 15 January 2026 (Thursday)
  4. Notice Phase (issue of notices, hearings, verification, decisions on enumeration forms, and disposal of claims and objections by EROs): 16 December 2025 (Tuesday) to 7 February 2026 (Saturday)
  5. Final Publication of Electoral Roll: 14 February 2026 (Saturday)

Mahajan stated that out of 5,46,56,215 enumeration forms across the state, more than 5.24 crore forms have already been uploaded on the ECI-Net platform — achieving 95.9% completion ahead of the deadline. This achievement reflects strong technical capability, teamwork, and continuous monitoring at the district level.

He added that BLOs at more than 25,000 polling stations have already completed 100% of the assigned tasks.

The Chief Electoral Officer further informed that Barmer, Salumber, Balotra, and Jhalawar districts have achieved 100% digitisation of enumeration forms. Additionally, 15 Assembly constituencies — Khanpur, Siwana, Dug, Manohar Thana, Bhinmal, Salumber, Chauhatan, Pachpadra, Rajgarh–Laxmangarh, Gudamalani, Jhalrapatan, Bari, Shiv, and Barmer — have also completed 100% digitisation.
