Caution and Vigilance are key to sustaining high achievement: CM Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed the ‘Jazba Police Award–2025’ ceremony organised by a private media institution, commending police officers and personnel for their round-the-clock dedication and exemplary sense of duty. He urged courageous and valiant police personnel to continue their pursuit of excellence while maintaining utmost caution and vigilance.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav presented mementoes to police officers and personnel for outstanding performance across various categories at a ceremony held in Bhopal on Wednesday. The event was also addressed by social worker and industrialist Shri Dilip Suryavanshi, Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari Mishra, State Editor Shri Pankaj Shrivastava, State Media In-Charge Shri Ashish Agrawal and Commissioner, Public Relations Shri Deepak Kumar Saxena. Resident Editor Shri Rajendra Gaharwar proposed the vote of thanks.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that the police department’s remarkable spirit of service towards the public was clearly evident during the global COVID-19 pandemic. He said that police personnel, working alongside doctors & staff of the health department, set an unparalleled example of selfless service without regard for their own lives. He paid tributes to all personnel for their service during the pandemic and also lauded their continued diligence in normal times. The Chief Minister, emphasising that policing demands 24×7 alertness and efficiency, stated that the government stands firmly with those who perform well and will leave no stone unturned in encouraging excellence. He added that strictness is also essential to ensure that the credibility of the police force remains untarnished.
Jazba Police Award–2025
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav presented first, second and third prizes in various categories, including investigation, bravery, discipline, traffic management, cybercrime and control of organised crime. A total of 30 officers & personnel, 18 from the city police and 12 from rural police, were honoured.
