Somnath is symbol of our inner strength, renaissance and indestructible faith : CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that it is a matter of great fortune that Lord Shri Mahakal and Mamleshwar Jyotirling are situated in our state, and that the capital city, Bhopal, has been blessed with the opportunity for darshan of the original Somnath Jyotirling. He said that despite being destroyed repeatedly, the reconstruction of Somnath proclaims that Shiva is eternal, our faith is unwavering, and the consciousness of Sanatan is immortal. Somnath stands as a symbol of our inner strength, renaissance and indestructible belief.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed the program, organised at the open-air premises of Ravindra Bhavan by the Art of Living and Bhopal Utsav Mela, featuring the Somnath Jyotirling Rudra Pooja and darshan of the mool Somnath Jyotirling. On this occasion, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishvas Sarang, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backwards Classes and Minority Welfare, Smt. Krishna Gaur, MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani, Bhopal Utsav Mela representative Shri Manmohan Agrawal, social worker Shri Makhan Singh and Shri Rahul Kothari were especially present.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Shiva alone is the truth and Sanatan. It is Shiva who introduces us to the core concepts of Sanatan culture through the human body, formed of the five great elements. Shiva is also the destroyer of our inner vices. Cultures that harbour opposition to Sanatan are today afflicted by internal crises, while Indian culture, ever wishing for the welfare of the world, continues to progress with the belief that the entire world is one family. He said that Vallabhbhai Patel led the reconstruction of Shri Somnath Mahadev, while Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi established the Ram Temple. In Ujjain, Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga remains a centre of faith for the masses. All this firmly establishes that Sanatan is without beginning and without end.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the spiritual wisdom, warmth and universal compassion of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar are deeply admirable. The rhythmic breathing technique of Sudarshan Kriya propagated by him has helped many people overcome complex ailments such as stress, anxiety and depression. During the Rudra Pooja, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav prayed to Lord Bholenath for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the people of the state.
