Aizawl, October 2026: Chief Minister Lalduhoma today held an interaction with officers of the Combined Civil Services who are undergoing their foundation course at the Administrative Training Institute (ATI). The interaction took place at the CM Conference Hall.
The Chief Minister congratulated the newly recruited officers, describing them as educated young people who had cleared a highly competitive examination and earned the opportunity to serve Mizoram.
He said that receiving good training at the outset was essential for performing well in service, making the training at ATI particularly valuable. He also welcomed the fact that officers from different services were undergoing training together.
“You are going to serve Mizoram. Working together in close coordination will greatly benefit our state,” he said.
The officers had an opportunity to interact with the Chief Minister and ask him questions.
ATI Director Rita Lalnunmawii accompanied the officers during the interaction. She thanked the Chief Minister for sparing time for the newly recruited officers despite his busy schedule.
She also expressed gratitude to the government for providing financial assistance to enable the Foundation Course trainees to undergo training at the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) in Delhi, and for its substantial support in the development of ATI infrastructure and the implementation of various courses.
A total of 34 officers are undergoing the Combined Foundation Course, comprising 20 Mizoram Civil Service (MCS) officers, five Mizoram Finance and Accounts Service (MF&AS) officers, and nine Mizoram Information Service (MIS) officers.
