New Delhi, Oct 2026 : On the auspicious occasion of Maha Navami, Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta performed Kanya Pujan with her family and prayed to Maa Durga for a bright future for all daughters and the happiness and prosperity of the people of Delhi.
The Chief Minister said that daughters are the embodiment of divine शक्ति. Respecting, educating, protecting and empowering them is essential for the true progress of society. Providing every daughter with equal opportunities to grow and fulfil her dreams is the true spirit of Kanya Pujan.
She reaffirmed that the Delhi Government is fully committed to ensuring the safety, education and empowerment of every daughter.
