CM Inspects Drought Relief Ration Packaging Centre, Directs Efficient Distribution of Relief Materials to Flood Victims

Patna, October 2026: Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Thursday inspected the drought relief ration packaging centre at Sri Krishna Memorial Hall in Patna. During the visit, the Chief Minister reviewed the materials being packed at the centre and took information about their quality.

Officials present at the centre informed the Chief Minister that, along with food items, all essential materials required by flood-affected people were being packed in the relief packets to ensure that they did not face any difficulty during the crisis.

The packets contain ration items such as rice, chana, sattu, sugar and spices, along with ORS, matches, candles and other essential materials.

The relief materials will be transported and distributed among flood-affected people with the help of two Air Force helicopters.

The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure that there was no delay or negligence in the distribution of relief materials. He instructed them to make all necessary arrangements to provide flood victims with food items as well as other essential supplies on time.

Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit, Principal Secretary of the Disaster Management Department Santosh Kumar Mall, Chief Minister’s Secretary Lokesh Kumar Singh, District Magistrate Kundan Kumar and other senior officials were present during the inspection.
