Hyderabad, Aug 2026 : Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.T. Rama Rao on Wednesday intensified his criticism of Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy over alleged irregularities in the allotment of government land to Tesseract Advanced Systems Pvt Ltd, a company that he claims is linked to the Chief Minister’s brother, Anumula Kondal Reddy.
Rama Rao alleged that while the previous BRS government established T-Hub to promote genuine startups and innovation, the present government was creating what he sarcastically called “Anumula Hubs” for the benefit of the Chief Minister's family.
In a post on X, Rama Rao wrote that while the BRS government worked to create an ecosystem for startups, Revanth Reddy was allegedly promoting a “family-run” and “zero-innovation” scheme. He further alleged that Kondal Reddy had managed to establish a defence company with minimal investment while benefiting from a valuable government land allotment.
The BRS leader claimed that nearly five acres of government land, estimated by him to be worth around ₹200 crore, had been allotted to Tesseract Advanced Systems for approximately ₹7 crore. He questioned how a company with a reported paid-up capital of only ₹1 lakh and no employees could qualify for such a valuable allotment.
Rama Rao alleged that Tesseract had no employees as of March 31, 2025, and claimed the land was allotted at a rate of approximately ₹3,700 per square yard. He demanded a comprehensive investigation into the transaction and sought complete disclosure of the government's decision-making process.
He called upon the Telangana government to make public all documents related to the allotment, including the relevant Government Order, valuation of the land, eligibility requirements, investment proposal, employment commitments and details of officials involved in approving the deal.
Rama Rao also questioned statements by Telangana Minister D. Sridhar Babu that Kondal Reddy had no connection with Tesseract Advanced Systems. Referring to Kondal Reddy’s LinkedIn profile, he claimed that the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum had identified him as Chairman of Tesseract Advanced Systems.
The BRS leader said his party would take the matter to Telangana Governor through a formal complaint and could also approach the Lokayukta and courts if required.
Rama Rao maintained that the BRS would continue pursuing the allegations until all relevant facts were established and accountability was fixed.
The allegations have added another political flashpoint between the ruling Congress and the opposition BRS in Telangana. The claims, however, remain allegations by Rama Rao, and the government has yet to publicly respond to all the specific charges raised by the BRS leader.
