Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026 Gaining Momentum in MP: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the activities under the month-long Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026, launched in Madhya Pradesh on the birth anniversary of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, are receiving an encouraging response across the state. Several innovative initiatives have been undertaken during the first 12 days of the campaign, and similar creative programmes will be organised during the remaining period to further engage citizens. While significant public welfare initiatives are being undertaken under the Mukhyamantri Jan Vishwas Abhiyan, the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026 has also generated enthusiasm among citizens.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reviewed the activities conducted under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026 at a meeting held at Mantralaya today and directed officials to continue the campaign activities. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla, Ministers Shri Prahlad Patel, Shri Vijay Shah, Shri Vishwas Sarang, Shri Nagar Singh Chauhan, Shri Uday Pratap Singh, Smt. Nirmala Bhuria, Smt. Pratima Bagri, Shri Narendra Shivaji Patel, Chief Secretary Shri Ashok Barnwal and other senior officials attended the meeting. Other ministers participated virtually.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said the programmes organised under the month-long Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, which commenced on September 17 on the occasion of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s birthday, have succeeded in engaging citizens across the state. He reviewed the progress of the campaign and discussed the upcoming programmes with ministers and senior officials. Several ministers and district-level officials participated virtually.

It was informed in the meeting that the Seva Setu Campaign will be organised across the state on October 3 and 4. Camps will be held in rural areas on October 3 and in urban areas on October 4 to facilitate citizens in availing benefits of various government schemes. The weekly Jan Vishwas Abhiyan will also be linked with the campaign on October 3.

A human rangoli based on a designated theme will be created in six districts—Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Jhabua and Alirajpur. Under the Seva First Innovation Challenge, students, entrepreneurs, teachers and officials will participate in various activities. A total of 16 focus sectors have been identified.

The Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra will be taken out on October 7, with Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang as the State Nodal Minister and Shri Sanjeev Singh as the State Nodal Officer. The yatras will be organised at various locations across the state, featuring beneficiary assistance and programmes centred on the vision of a developed India and the spirit of service. As per the proposed programme, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will address the event virtually on October 7.

The campaign commenced on September 17, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s birthday. As part of the Aashirwad Ka Diya activity, 3,87,8V0,463 diyas were lit across Madhya Pradesh, with 2,64,85,060 citizens participating. A world record was created in Ujjain with the lighting of 33,27,125 diyas.

Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya and State Nodal Officer Shri Sanjay Dubey were responsible for the activity. The Public Relations, Panchayat and Rural Development, Women and Child Development, Revenue and Health departments were also entrusted with various responsibilities.

Between September 19 and 26, 27,28,668 participants took part in the painting competition and 12,37,810 participants participated in the speech competition across the state. Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh and Principal Secretary Shri Sanjay Goyal were responsible for the activity.

The Namo Seva activity, which commenced on September 19 and will continue until October 5, features street performances by cultural groups across the state. So far, 3,033 programmes have been held, involving 5,208 artists. Minister Shri Dharmendra Singh Lodhi is the State Nodal Minister, while Additional Chief Secretary Shri Shiv Shekhar Shukla is the State Nodal Officer. The Public Relations Department is coordinating the activity in association with district administrations.

Activities under Aangan Milan Seva commenced on September 26 and will continue until October 5. A total of 24,28,116 women and children have participated in programmes held at Anganwadi centres, while 1,35,110 women have been honoured. Minister Smt. Nirmala Bhuria and State Nodal Officer Smt. G.V. Rashmi are overseeing the activity.

A total of 5,25,054 inspiring stories have been received from across the state under the Seva Ki Kahani initiative. State Nodal Minister Smt. Pratima Bagri and Commissioner, Public Relations and Secretary, Transport, Shri Manish Singh are overseeing the project. Activities under the initiative, which commenced on September 17, are being conducted throughout the month-long campaign until October 17.

The activity commenced on September 17. So far, programmes have been organised in 1,706 cities and towns, with the participation of 6,48,520 citizens. Minister Shri Narendra Shivaji Patel is the State Nodal Minister, while Secretary Shri T. Ilaiya Raj is the State Nodal Officer. The activities will continue until October 7.

The Seva Mera Yogdan initiative, comprising 10 activities, will be conducted from October 2 to 10. Activities will include cleanliness drives, health camps and service initiatives at old-age homes and orphanages. Activities related to the welfare of persons with disabilities and students will also be organised under the supervision of State Nodal Minister Shri Rakesh Singh and State Nodal Officer Shri Shreeman Shukla.

During the month-long campaign from September 17 to October 17, representatives and influencers from other states will visit Madhya Pradesh under the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. State Nodal Minister Shri Inder Singh Parmar and State Nodal Officer and Secretary Shri Manish Singh are supervising and coordinating these activities.
