Mumbai, September 2026 : Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, his wife Gauri Khan and daughter Suhana Khan visited Mumbai’s iconic Lalbaugcha Raja pandal together on Monday night to seek blessings during the Ganpati festival.
The Khan family, accompanied by Shah Rukh’s manager and close associate Pooja Dadlani, made their way through the crowded pandal and participated in the evening aarti. Their appearance drew considerable attention from devotees and fans, while videos from the visit quickly surfaced on social media.
Among the moments that attracted attention were candid interactions between Shah Rukh, Gauri and Suhana. In one video, Suhana appeared to have vermilion on her nose and around her eye following the darshan. Gauri was seen gently using her dupatta to help her daughter clean the area and ease the irritation.
Shah Rukh was also seen attending to Suhana, trying to wipe the vermilion from her nose and ensuring that she was comfortable. The brief family moment offered a glimpse of the actor in a more personal setting as he joined his wife and daughter for the festive visit.
Another video showed Shah Rukh wiping vermilion from his own face after the darshan. He was also seen cleaning sweat from his forehead with assistance from Pooja Dadlani, who used her dupatta to help him.
Dadlani has been associated with Shah Rukh for several years and regularly accompanies the actor at public and professional engagements. She was also present with him during Monday night’s visit to Lalbaugcha Raja.
For the occasion, Shah Rukh wore a blue traditional kurta, while Gauri chose a yellow ethnic outfit. Suhana complemented her parents in a green traditional ensemble.
Suhana joined her parents for the Lalbaugcha Raja darshan this year, while Shah Rukh’s sons Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan were not seen at the pandal with the family.
The visit marked another Ganpati appearance by Shah Rukh, who has previously visited Lalbaugcha Raja. In 2023, he had sought blessings at the famous Mumbai pandal with his younger son AbRam and Pooja Dadlani.
The actor had also recently spoken about his family’s Ganpati celebrations during an #AskSRK interaction on X. Responding to a fan’s question, Shah Rukh said that Gauri performs the aarti followed by prayers and that the family observes the visarjan together. He described the celebrations as a simple occasion centred on family time, with children and friends gathering together.
Shah Rukh has also spoken publicly about raising Aryan, Suhana and AbRam with Gauri in an interfaith household, highlighting the family’s approach to celebrating different traditions.
His Lalbaugcha Raja appearance comes amid a series of festive outings in Mumbai, including his participation in the Ambani family’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh is preparing for his upcoming film King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The project will feature him alongside Suhana Khan and is scheduled for theatrical release on December 24, 2026.
