In his message, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said young people were not merely the leaders of tomorrow but an important force driving the country’s progress today. He called upon the youth to actively participate in nation-building and uphold democratic and constitutional values.

“On the Foundation Day of the Indian Youth Congress, my heartfelt greetings to the youth of India. Our youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow—they are the force shaping India today,” the Chief Minister said.

Revanth Reddy urged young people to unite in defending the Constitution and strengthening democratic institutions. He also stressed the importance of working towards justice, equality and equal opportunities for all sections of society.

“Together, let us build a stronger, inclusive and progressive India,” he said.

TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud also conveyed his greetings to leaders, office-bearers and dedicated workers of the Indian Youth Congress. He said the organisation had played an important role in developing young leadership and strengthening the Congress at the grassroots level.

Goud said the Youth Congress had inspired generations of young people to participate in public service and contribute to nation-building. He called upon its members to reaffirm their commitment to the principles and ideals of the Indian National Congress.

He urged young leaders and workers to take up greater responsibilities and work towards empowering the next generation through courage, dedication and public service.

At a programme held at Gandhi Bhavan, the Telangana Congress headquarters, Goud hoisted the Youth Congress flag and extended Foundation Day greetings to party workers and young leaders.

Telangana Transport and Backward Classes Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar also greeted the youth on the occasion. He extended his wishes to leaders, students and young workers associated with the Indian Youth Congress, describing it as one of the world’s largest democratic youth organisations.

Meanwhile, the TPCC organised a separate programme at Gandhi Bhavan to mark Quit India Day. Several senior Congress leaders, including Cabinet ministers D. Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar, Konda Surekha, Vakati Srihari and Mohammed Azharuddin, attended the event along with Mahesh Kumar Goud.

The leaders also visited a special exhibition organised under the aegis of the Gandhi Trust. They toured a book exhibition showcasing literature associated with Mahatma Gandhi and viewed a display of statues and material highlighting his life and legacy.
