Chief Minister Dr. Yadav Launches Trailer and Poster of Film ‘Godaan’
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav launched the trailer and unveiled the poster of the film Godaan, centred on Gaumata, at the Chief Minister’s residence on Wednesday. The film is scheduled for release on February 6. The Chief Minister said that he would personally watch the film Godaan along with public representatives.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that he has been associated with cattle rearing and ‘Gauseva’ since childhood. Gaumata not only provides milk but also plays an important role in maintaining a positive environment. The sense of fulfilment derived from cow service, he said, is incomparable. He added that the importance of Gaumata has been paramount in Indian culture since the eras of Lord Shri Ram and Shri Krishna. He said that the Madhya Pradesh government has put in place comprehensive arrangements for the management of gaushalas, the operation of large gaushalas using modern technology, conservation of cattle, and ensuring fair returns to cattle rearers for milk sales. To motivate youth, animal husbandry-related courses have also been incorporated into higher education curricula. The state government has doubled the assistance for cattle feed in gaushalas from ₹20 to ₹40 per cow.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav further stated that multi-dimensional efforts are being made to enhance milk production in the state. These include an agreement with the National Dairy Development Board, providing benefits of up to ₹8 per litre to cattle rearers, and modernisation of milk plants in Jabalpur and Gwalior.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated Kamdhenu Film Production and the film’s producer-director, Shri Vinod Chaudhary, along with Shri Ajit Prasad Mahapatra, Shri Shantanu Shukla, Dr. Indresh Pratap Singh, Dr. Madhusudan Sharma, and Shri Vedpal Jha for the film’s production. On the occasion, Panchgavya products were also launched.
